Member of the Month - Richard Sennewald
Congratulations to Richard Sennewald, who holds this month’s Member of the Month title!
Richard is showing up consistently around his busy family and work life, as well as the extra work he takes on in the filming industry - he’s a busy guy but doesn’t let this get in the way of his training.
He has been working through an injury and has been sensible through his recovery, adapting his training to ensure he’s still been getting in and had made great progress through this.
Richard is also a coachable member who always welcomes feedback from the coaches and takes a queues on board to improve how he moves, although he already moves great!
Well done Richard, keep it up.
💥Inter-House Comp💥
Well done to you all for getting those seeding workout scores submitted, we are excited to host an amazing day for you all. Coach Beth will be posting a separate update soon but we wanted to pop a little shout out on here for any of you who are not competing who wouldn’t mind helping out as a volunteer on the day. You can be a part of the magic of comp day without having to compete if that’s not your thing :)
If you’re willing to help as a volunteer, please drop Beth an email via events@centralstaffscrossfit.com
Charity Hike
Each year we host a charity walk in order to raise money for our charity partners - BTG.
We love to have as many of you involved as possible so the walk is planned to be moderately challenging but accessible for most. This is also a great way to mix with the community and meet members who you don’t see regularly. Of course dogs are welcome and friends and family who might enjoy the walk too!
Details are as follows:
Date: Saturday 26th July
Time: TBC - but plan for a whole day with a meet before 09:00
Location and Route information: https://www.strava.com/routes/3365666110325227394
Carpark: https://maps.app.goo.gl/7e5y2Zpgimmnw4e19
We have created a WhatsApp group to keep you updated with plans and so that you can arrange car sharing etc. If you’d like to join the group, follow this link: https://chat.whatsapp.com/HH1700O8JOG3tollT1U2Qc
Following the walk we will stop for a drink at the Anglers Rest pub - this is a dog friendly and close to our start/finish point.
